Start with the fences. Hanover lots are large enough that most properties have real fence runs, usually pine, and the shaded side of a pine privacy fence goes green faster than almost anything else on a property. It is common for one face of a fence to look brand new and the other to look ten years older. It cleans up completely — the wood underneath is nearly always fine.
